Description
An early 20th century chandelier, executed in the Arts and Crafts/Art Deco style. Constructed primarily of brass or bronze-toned metal, it features a central chain suspension leading to a decorative boss and stem. Five scrolling arms extend from the central structure, each terminating in a faux candle holder with a white sleeve and a modern bulb. A large, frosted or opalescent glass bowl, likely alabaster, forms the main diffuser, adorned with a decorative band with blue and gold accents.
Condition report:
Fair to good overall condition. Consistent surface wear commensurate with age. A loose white string or wire is visible hanging from the bottom finial of the central bowl. Wiring should be inspected by a qualified electrician prior to use.
