Description
An Early 19th Century Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers, constructed from richly figured, warm-toned mahogany. The chest features a rectilinear design with five drawer sections: two smaller drawers at the top, above three progressively deeper, full-width drawers. The drawers are fitted with circular brass-toned ring pulls. The bottom-most drawer is further accented with a central key escutcheon. The chest stands on short, tapered square legs.
Condition report:
Good condition. Exhibiting typical signs of age and wear commensurate with its likely period, including minor surface abrasions, scuffs, and some fading to the finish. No obvious major damage or visible repairs noted.
