Description
A Sino Aubusson Style Wool Tapestry Wall Hanging. This rectangular woven textile features a classical floral design. The central oval medallion depicts a bouquet of roses and foliage, surrounded by an all-over repeating pattern of individual rose blossoms and scrolling acanthus motifs, predominantly in shades of pink, red, green, and cream on a light beige ground. A white tag in the lower right corner is marked “MADE IN CHINA” and “LOT 160”.
Condition report:
Good condition. No major tears or extensive fading observed. Minor surface wear consistent with age and display.
