Description
A vintage electrical amusement device, commonly known as a “buzz wire” or “steady hand” game, dating from the mid-20th century. The game features a painted speckled gray metal casing. A yellow back panel prominently displays “DING-A-BELL” in red text, above a numbered scale from “Start” to “Finish 9.” Progress indicators are marked along the scale, including “YOU WIN, ” “FEELING SHAKY, ” “STEADY NOW!, ” “GETTING, ” and “N.B.G.” A wavy metal wire forms the maze, which is navigated by a black-handled wand connected by a cord. A small metal bell and Panasonic batteries are visible inside, indicating its electrical operation.
