Description
A Hornby Gauge O clockwork Tank Passenger Set No. 41, manufactured by Meccano Ltd. in Liverpool, England. The set comprises a black tinplate clockwork tank locomotive marked with the “BRITISH RAILWAYS” emblem and the number “3 82011”, two red tinplate passenger coaches (one visibly marked “GUARD” and “TO CARRY 8 TONS UNIFORMLY DISTRIBUTED”), and multiple sections of metal O Gauge track. These components are housed within their original red and orange cardboard box, which features a printed illustration of an express steam locomotive on the lid and internal yellow cardboard dividers.
