A collection of approximately two dozen vintage tourism-related paper ephemera, predominantly travel brochures, guides, and folded maps, primarily promoting various regions within Wales. The items exhibit a mid-20th century aesthetic, with a mix of photographic and illustrative cover designs, and are printed on paper or light cardstock. Visible titles include “MID WALES, ” “SOUTH WALES, ” “Llandudno Street Map” (marked “PRICE 5p”), “Welcome to Brecon & Radnor, ” “Street Plan of Rhyl” (with a handwritten “1751” annotation), “Tenby & Saundersfoot, ” and “Borth on Cardigan Bay.” Several titles also incorporate Welsh language, such as “Croeso” (Welcome), “Chwarel Hen Llanfair” (Old Llanfair Quarry), and “Gloddfa Ganol Slate Mine” (Central Slate Mine).
