Description
A pair of Lledo (London) Ltd. die-cast vehicle gift sets from the Models of Days Gone series. These sets feature various early 20th-century style commercial and passenger vehicles constructed from die-cast metal with plastic wheels and detailing. Each set is presented in its original cardboard window box with plastic vac-formed inserts and includes moulded plastic figures.
Set one is identified as GIFT SET GS.1 and contains three vehicles: a dark green and red passenger car, a yellow and black van, and a dark-coloured commercial vehicle, accompanied by three figurines.
Set two contains three vehicles including a blue van with white block lettering reading DAILY MAIL, a yellow van, and an off-white open-top tourer. This set includes figures and two horses. The yellow van within this set bears a circular yellow adhesive label with the handwritten characters 15.00.
The cardboard packaging features the printed text Models of DAYS GONE by Lledo on the header flap. The front lower right corners are printed with GIFT SET GS.1 and GIFT SET respectively, followed by age warnings in English, French, and German, and copyright information reading © 1983 LLEDO (LONDON) LTD. A small Union Jack graphic is printed on the box front.
