Description
This lot comprises a collection of approximately 14 pieces of Star Wars themed ceramic drinkware, featuring character-themed figural mugs and promotional drinking glasses. The majority of the items were produced by Applause, as evidenced by the manufacturer’s hand logo and the text everyone loves to get applause on the packaging. The collection includes several boxed figural mugs from the Star Wars Classic Collectors Series, with characters identified by markings on the side checklists including Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, C-3PO, Tusken Raider, and Bib Fortuna.
The collection further includes display-boxed figural mugs featuring Yoda, General Grievous, and a Special Edition Clone Trooper in Phase I style armour. A larger display box contains a Darth Vader ceramic mug from the Episode I series. Also present is a Star Wars Glossary Mug in its original retail packaging, bearing the Disney licensing logo. Unboxed items include an R2-D2 figural mug and three tapered drinking glasses featuring character artwork of a Battle Droid, Sebulba, and Darth Maul, produced as promotional tie-ins for Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace.
