Description
A Hasbro Star Wars Episode I Opee and Qui-Gon Jinn creature and action figure set, released in 1998 to coincide with the film The Phantom Menace. The set consists of an Opee sea creature and an exclusive Qui-Gon Jinn action figure, both constructed from plastic. The Opee creature is designed with a button-activated snapping jaw mechanism and poseable legs. The Qui-Gon Jinn figure features articulated ankles intended for swimming poses and is equipped with a specialized underwater breathing apparatus accessory. The item is housed in its original factory-sealed window box packaging. Printed marks on the front of the box include Star Wars Episode I, Opee and Qui-Gon Jinn, and the Hasbro manufacturer logo, alongside assembly numbers Asst. No. 84125 and No. 84096. The reverse of the packaging contains detailed manufacturer information attributing the product to 1998 Hasbro, Inc., Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and Lucasfilm Ltd. Further identifying marks include the product code 559135.0100 and a proof of purchase barcode numbered 0 76281 84096 3. The box also indicates the item was made in China with the reference C-078A.
