Description
A large hand-knotted Persian Heriz carpet constructed with a wool pile on a cotton foundation. The design features a classic geometric composition centred on a large, multi-stepped medallion in ivory, tan, and navy blue tones. This central motif is set against a saturated terracotta-red field decorated with stylized floral and foliate elements. A wide, navy-blue main border contains a series of bold, geometric floral patterns, flanked by multiple ivory and red guard borders. No maker’s marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the piece.
