Description
An antique folding card table, presenting as a demilune console when closed and converting to an oval or round table with a green felt playing surface when opened. Constructed primarily of wood, it features decorative veneers, including a lighter wood inlay in a radiating fan or shell motif on the top surface and banded inlays along the apron. The table stands on four slender, tapered square legs. No legible manufacturer’s marks or text are visible.
Condition report:
The wooden top surface exhibits significant wear, including scratches, discoloration, and areas of finish loss, particularly on the demilune section. The green felt playing surface appears worn but largely intact.
