Description
A framed print on paper depicting a Neoclassical lidded urn or vase. The artwork is rendered in shades of blue, white, and golden brown, featuring vertical fluting, draped garlands, and a central medallion with a classical profile bust. Printed text below the image identifies the subject as a “French soft paste porcelain vase decorated with beaded garlands in a blue, red, and ochre c. 1768,” noting its provenance through acquisition by John Julius Weschler for Blenheim Palace, and its current location at Ranger’s House, Blackheath, managed by English Heritage. The print is presented with a wide white mat and housed in a ribbed, gold-toned frame.
