Description
A framed print on paper depicting a Neoclassical lidded urn or vase. The artwork is rendered in shades of blue, white, and golden brown, featuring vertical fluting, draped garlands, and a central medallion with a classical profile bust. Printed text below the image identifies the subject as a « French soft paste porcelain vase decorated with beaded garlands in a blue, red, and ochre c. 1768, » noting its provenance through acquisition by John Julius Weschler for Blenheim Palace, and its current location at Ranger’s House, Blackheath, managed by English Heritage. The print is presented with a wide white mat and housed in a ribbed, gold-toned frame.
