Description
A set of French Louis XV style dining chairs and a pedestal table. The chairs feature dark polished carved wooden frames with cabriole legs, ornate carved aprons, and decorative stretchers. The upholstery edges are accented with metal nailhead trim. Two distinct upholstery fabrics are present across the chairs: a textured olive-green velvet-like material on some, and a multi-colored paisley patterned fabric (gold, red, magenta) on others. The square-topped table has a central polished wooden pedestal base with four splayed legs.
Condition report:
The chairs are in generally good condition with minor wear to the frames and upholstery consistent with use. The table exhibits visible surface wear, including scratches, scuffs, and chipping along the tabletop edges and on the base. The presence of two distinct upholstery fabrics on the chairs suggests either re-upholstery or a mixed set.
