Description
A pair of painted and gilt wood side chairs, executed in a French Neoclassical or Rococo Revival style. Each chair features an oval back, cabriole-style front legs, and is upholstered in a patterned beige fabric. Accompanying the chairs is an octagonal occasional table, crafted from dark-stained wood, featuring turned legs and a stretcher base.
Condition report:
The chairs exhibit notable wear to their painted and gilt finishes, including chips and rubs consistent with age and use. The patterned beige upholstery shows some minor signs of wear but appears generally intact. The octagonal table shows extensive surface wear, scratches, and water marks to its top. The dark-stained finish has areas of rubbing and discoloration. All three items appear structurally sound.
