Description
This suite comprises a pair of Louis XV-style armchairs and an Edwardian mahogany two-tier occasional table. The armchairs feature painted white and partially gilded wooden frames with carved rocaille details and cabriole legs, upholstered in a light brown velvet-like fabric. The accompanying occasional table is constructed from dark-finished mahogany, presenting a scalloped top and a smaller lower shelf, supported by curved legs.
Condition report:
The armchairs exhibit significant wear to their painted and gilded finishes, with visible staining and fading on the upholstery. The table shows extensive surface wear, scratches, and finish loss, particularly on its top and edges. Overall, the items are in fair to poor condition, consistent with age and considerable use.
