Description
An elaborate set of formal window dressings, comprising a shaped pelmet/valance with swags and tails, and a pair of floor-length drapes. The drapes are crafted from a woven textile, likely a damask or jacquard, featuring a scrolling foliate or floral pattern in a pale, possibly cream or ecru, hue against a muted beige/taupe ground. The set is richly trimmed with fringe and decorative tassels, complemented by braided rope tie-backs with substantial tassels. The opulent style is consistent with Late Victorian, Edwardian, or early 20th-century revival periods, designed for a grand interior.
