Description
A French Louis XVI style gilt bronze three-light wall sconce. The backplate features an asymmetrical design with intricate scrolling foliage, prominent acanthus leaves, a central cartouche-like shield, and draped laurel wreaths tied with a ribbon motif at the crest. Three gracefully curved arms extend to support individual candle-form electric light sockets, each with a fluted drip pan.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The gilt finish is largely intact with minor wear and surface dust consistent with age and use. No significant damage or repairs observed.
