Description
An Edwardian inlaid mahogany triple-section display cabinet, or vitrine. The cabinet features a central bowed door extensively decorated with light wood marquetry depicting classical motifs, including a ribbon bow and an urn-like device. The two flanking glazed doors incorporate curvilinear, Gothic-arched glazing bars. The interiors are fitted with veined stone or marble shelves. The cabinet stands on slender, tapered legs, with a conforming open shelf base.
Condition report:
Generally good antique condition. Showing surface wear and minor indentations consistent with age, particularly on the top surface. Minor scuffs and marks to the legs and base.
