Description
A vintage red moulded plastic handheld electronic game produced by Parker Brothers. The device features a speaker grille at the top embossed with the name MERLIN. Below the speaker is a central grid consisting of an eleven-pad touch-sensitive matrix with circular metal contacts, featuring remnants of black printed numbers zero through nine and a clear symbol. The lower section of the handset-style body houses four square function buttons with silver-toned adhesive labels bearing the printed text NEW GAME, SAME GAME, HIT ME, and COMP TURN. A power slide switch is located on the right-hand side of the unit (photo 3). The device is constructed from three distinct geometric red plastic sections.
