Description
A framed offset lithograph on paper titled The Darts Team after Mike Jackson. The composition features a humorous anthropomorphic scene of various dog breeds in a traditional British pub interior. In the foreground, a white bulldog in a green and red plaid shirt and flat cap holds a pint glass and smokes a cigar. A German Shepherd in a red jacket is positioned to throw a dart at a board in the background, surrounded by other dogs including a poodle and a terrier. The work is signed and dated in the plate to the upper right corner Mike Jackson ’86. Centrally below the image are the printed titles THE DARTS TEAM and DOUBLE ONE FOR THE MATCH. The print is housed behind glass in a white mount and a tiered gold-effect wooden frame.
