Description
An Edwardian mahogany two-tier occasional table. The table features an oval-shaped top with a scalloped or ‚pie-crust‘ edge. It is supported by four cabriole legs, which connect to a curved apron beneath the top and further down to a small, circular lower shelf via curved stretchers. The design reflects a traditional style, consistent with the Edwardian period.
Condition report:
The table is in fair condition, consistent with age and use. The wooden top exhibits significant surface wear, including extensive finish loss and numerous visible scratches, particularly concentrated towards the center. The finish on the top is heavily degraded. The cabriole legs and structural components are stable and exhibit general age-related wear, including minor scuffs and abrasions. No visible breaks, repairs, or structural instability observed.
