Description
A drypoint by Paul Brown, titled ‚In His Younger Days—Training Over Hurdles, Wroughton,‘ depicting two jockeys on horses actively training over hurdles in a rural landscape. The artwork, printed on paper, is presented under glass with a wide white mat and housed within a gilded, reeded wooden frame. A faint, partially illegible signature or initials can be discerned in the lower left corner of the illustration itself.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The print appears well-preserved under glass. The gilded, reeded wooden frame shows minor surface wear, scuffs, and small losses to the gilding consistent with age and handling.
