Description
An 18th-century framed architectural print, likely an engraving or etching, by S. Wale. The print depicts the „South West Front of Luton Park House in Bedfordshire,“ dated 1762, and is signed „S. Wale inv. Et. Sculpt. 1762.“ It features a detailed rendering of a large house with castellated elements, presented on light-colored paper. The print is matted and housed within a decorative giltwood frame under glass. An auction label, „PreAuction Limited LOT 326,“ is affixed to the mat or glass.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The print appears well-preserved, protected under glass. The mat and frame show minor wear consistent with age and handling.
