Description
A Neoclassical style patinated brass table lamp, possibly 19th Century French, featuring a flared fabric bell-shaped shade, likely linen or silk, atop a slender, tapering columnar stem. The lamp body is adorned with decorative classical-style acanthus leaf motifs at both its base and neck, resting on a stepped circular plinth. A small brown paper tag with a handwritten numeral ‚7‘ is attached to the base.
Condition report:
The fabric shade exhibits minor discoloration and creasing. The base and stem show notable wear and loss of finish, consistent with age and use.
