Description
A Chinese Guan Yu figure, depicting the seated deity or revered general in traditional East Asian style. The figure is cast from a composite material, possibly resin, and features a multi-toned metallic-effect finish in shades of bronze, copper, and red-brown. The reverse reveals a solid dark red core. Guan Yu is depicted wearing elaborate robes, armor, and a helmet, with a long beard, and holds a spherical object in one hand. Visible markings include ‚財神中到‘ (Cái shén zhōng dào – God of Wealth Arrives) on the base, ‚喜發‘ (Xǐ fā – Happiness and Prosperity) and ‚招財‘ (Zhāo cái – Attract Wealth) on the helmet, and ‚招財進寶‘ (Zhāo cái jìn bǎo – Attract wealth and treasure) on the chest.
