Lot 627:
Description
This lot comprises three collectible spoons of varying styles. The first is a small souvenir spoon featuring an enamelled shield terminal in blue and green tones with a central diamond motif. The terminal bears a mark consisting of the characters I, A, and a third partially obscured character within a diamond shape. The second item is a souvenir spoon in a clear plastic presentation box, featuring a terminal with a red and white enamelled crest of a red cross on a white background. The stem is decorated with a textured bark-like pattern. A black adhesive band on the exterior of the plastic case is printed with the words SILVER PLATED. The third item is an Art Deco style decorative spoon, possibly a grapefruit spoon, featuring a slightly pointed bowl and a flared, flat-ended handle with an embossed floral design at the base. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are legible on the first or third spoons.
