Description
A group of four Guernsey coins from the mid-to-late 20th century. The lot includes a round, dark bronze 1956 «EIGHT DOUBLES» coin featuring a lily motif on the obverse and «DEI GRA REX ET INSULAE GUERNESEY» with a coat of arms on the reverse. Also present is a smaller, silver-colored, scalloped-edge 1959 «THREE PENCE» coin depicting a cow on the obverse and «ELIZABETH II BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY» with a coat of arms on the reverse. Completing the lot are two round, silver-colored «FIVE PENCE» coins, dated 1990 and 1992 respectively, both featuring a sailing ship with the numeral «5» on the obverse and a portrait of Elizabeth II with «BAILIWICK OF GUERNSEY» on their reverses.
