Description
An Ethan Allen British Collection solid cherry writing desk and accompanying chair. The desk features a rectangular top, a central drawer, and two sets of stacked drawers on either side, all fitted with circular brass or gilt metal pull handles. The accompanying chair presents a classical form with a carved and pierced central splat, a subtly shaped top rail, and straight, tapering legs, consistent with Georgian, Regency, or revivalist styles inspired by Hepplewhite or Sheraton designs. The chair’s seat is upholstered in a light-colored woven fabric. No visible manufacturer’s markings were observed.
