Description
This lot comprises a square pedestal-base table crafted from dark-finished wood, featuring a rectangular central pedestal supported by four splayed, shaped feet. Accompanying the table are two high-back side chairs with dark-finished carved wood frames, exhibiting Rococo Revival or Queen Anne influences through their cabriole legs, intricate apron carvings, and scroll feet, all finished with decorative nailhead trim. One chair is upholstered in a plain olive green textured fabric, while the other features a vibrant multi-colored pattern, possibly paisley or damask, in gold, red, and purple on both front and back.
Condition report:
The table displays visible surface scratches, scuffs, and wear, particularly on the tabletop and base edges. One chair exhibits visible wear and minor staining on the seat. All items generally present in used condition commensurate with their apparent age, showing signs of consistent use.
