Description
The ensemble comprises a round pedestal dining table, likely crafted from mahogany, featuring a circular top supported by a central turned pedestal with four splayed, shaped feet, indicative of a traditional or classical revival style. Accompanying the table are four side chairs with carved wooden frames, cabriole-style legs, and stretchers. Two of the chairs are upholstered in a patterned gold, red, and burgundy paisley-like fabric, while the other two are covered in a solid dark olive-green velvet; both upholstery types are finished with visible nailhead trim. No distinct manufacturer’s marks or textual inscriptions are visible.
Condition report:
The tabletop shows signs of wear, including surface scratches, scuffs, and some chipping to the finish, particularly along the rim. All chairs appear in generally good condition with expected minor wear consistent with their age and design. Upholstery is intact with minor signs of use.
