Description
An oil on canvas painting, after Pieter De Ring, titled ‘Still Life with Golden Goblet.’ Executed in a style reminiscent of the Dutch Golden Age ‘pronkstilleven,’ it depicts an abundant arrangement centered around a vibrant red cooked lobster. Surrounding it are rich clusters of green and purple grapes, peaches, citrus with a long peel, a loaf of bread, small fish, and an elaborate gold-toned vessel with a bird finial, all set against a deep blue drapery and dark background. The artwork is presented in a substantial, ornate gilded frame featuring reeded and foliate motifs. No visible signatures or inscriptions are discernible on the painting or the front of the frame.

The painting appears to be in good overall condition with strong color saturation. The frame shows minor surface wear.
