Description
A collection of vintage Atari 8-bit home computing equipment and software, featuring an Atari 400 console with a membrane keyboard. The hardware is housed in a large cardboard box printed with pink text reading ATARI and THE ATARI PROGRAMMER, as well as FOR THE ATARI 400/800 COMPUTER SYSTEM. The console casing is marked ATARI 400 in black and orange lettering. Included is a group of boxed software titles comprising TIMEWISE, ATARIWRITER, and the wargame EASTERN FRONT (1941), all bearing the Atari logo. The lot also contains a small cardboard box for a 48K RAM for Atari 400 upgrade. Two software cartridges are present: one labelled BASIC COMPUTING LANGUAGE CXL4002 and another labelled ASSEMBLER EDITOR CXL4003. Accompanying literature includes instructional books titled Your ATARI COMPUTER a guide to ATARI 400/800 personal computers, the ATARI Assembler, and a Radio Shack book titled TRS-80 Assembly Language Programming. The console is fitted with a power supply unit and cable.
