Description
An assortment of vintage home computing hardware and peripherals manufactured by Atari. The collection is centred around an Atari 800XL home computer console with a full-stroke keyboard. An adhesive white label on the top of the unit is printed ATARI 800XL. Included is an Atari 810 external disk drive for 5.25 inch floppy disks, which is marked on the front fascia ATARI 810. Also present is an expansion unit providing RS-232 and parallel ports, marked on the front edge ATARI 850. The lot contains four hand-held joysticks: two standard Atari single-button controllers, one marked POINTMASTER, and one grey multi-button controller. A black rectangular power supply unit is included, which features an embossed Atari Fuji logo and is fitted with a standard UK three-pin mains plug. A variety of black SIO (Serial I/O) cables are present for interconnecting the modules.
