Description
An oil on stretched canvas painting by Ena Rawlins, executed in a vibrant Impressionist style. The composition features a multi-arched bridge or viaduct spanning a body of water, with the arches and surrounding dense green trees reflected in the surface. A small structure with a red roof is visible to the left. The artist has employed a bold, expressive technique with thick brushstrokes and areas of impasto to convey light and movement. The colour palette is dominated by verdant greens, aquatic blues, and pale sandy tones. The work is signed ENA-RAWLINS in black block letters in the lower right corner. The painting is shown resting on a wooden easel which bears a branded stamp reading MABEF MADE IN ITALY on the upper right crossbar.
