Lot 746:
Description
A pair of framed colour photographs, likely C-prints or digital pigment prints, commemorating the British Airways Concorde. The first photograph depicts a profile view of the supersonic airliner positioned on a runway, showing the distinctive tail fin and livery. The second photograph is an aerial view of Concorde G-BOAF performing its final flight over the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol on 26 November 2003. Both images are housed in matching decorative frames in the style of Creazioni Artistiche, featuring a polished burl-wood effect finish and a multi-coloured geometric marquetry-style border in shades of teal, white, and red, finished with a gilt-toned inner slip. Small, illegible signatures or markings are present in the lower right corner of each print.
