Description
A large collection of vintage beverage coasters, primarily made of absorbent pulpboard, presented both loosely on a surface and stored within a plain brown cardboard box. The coasters feature diverse designs, predominantly advertising various alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including brands such as Guinness, Babycham, Amstel, Whitbread, Strongbow, Löwenbräu, Colt 45, Dry Dubonnet, and Britvic. Many display iconic vintage advertising artwork and slogans, including « A Passion for Fashion » and « HEY BIG SPENDER, SPEND A LITTLE ON A Pony. » Some coasters include foreign text such as « DIT IS DE MAN » and « DIT IS Z’N BIER, » indicating a Dutch market presence. One coaster explicitly dates a « Glenfiddich Haggis Hunt » to Jan-June 1978.
