Luton Hoo - Bedrooms
Lot 1063:
Description
A pair of early to mid-20th century washstands, exhibiting a traditional or Art Deco-influenced style, likely associated with the Waterford Castle Hotel & Golf Resort. Each unit features a rectangular countertop crafted from a grey-green veined stone, possibly marble or a similar composite, with an integrated oval cream-colored ceramic basin and decorative shell-motif soap dishes. The basins are fitted with polished metal cross-handle hot and cold faucets. Both washstands are supported by four ornate, fluted polished metal legs, appearing to be chrome or nickel-plated. No visible manufacturer’s marks or textual inscriptions are discernible.
