Lot 1546:
Description
A pair of Royal Rectangular engravings in coral color, likely reproductions, each depicting a classical European heraldic crest or coat of arms. Presented with an antique aesthetic on a background resembling aged parchment, the central quartered shield is supported by two rampant lions and surmounted by a crown, with crossed flags and staffs in the background. A banner beneath the shield prominently displays the French motto « DIEU ET MON DROIT » (God and my right), and faint, stylized script is visible below the main emblem. Each artwork is professionally matted in white and housed under glass in a wide, ornate gold-toned frame.
Print dimensions: 50 cm x 40 cm
