Lot 1546:
Description
A pair of Royal Rectangular engravings in coral color, likely reproductions, each depicting a classical European heraldic crest or coat of arms. Presented with an antique aesthetic on a background resembling aged parchment, the central quartered shield is supported by two rampant lions and surmounted by a crown, with crossed flags and staffs in the background. A banner beneath the shield prominently displays the French motto “DIEU ET MON DROIT” (God and my right), and faint, stylized script is visible below the main emblem. Each artwork is professionally matted in white and housed under glass in a wide, ornate gold-toned frame.
Print dimensions: 50 cm x 40 cm
