Description
A traditional double-arm electric wall sconce, featuring a central ornate backplate decorated with an acanthus leaf motif. Two curved arms, crafted from polished brass or a brass-toned metal, extend horizontally, each supporting a candle-style lamp holder. Each lamp holder is fitted with a small, cream-colored fabric bell shade with a scalloped edge and gold trim. Faint, largely illegible text, possibly « 14S W » or similar, is visible on one light bulb. No other manufacturer’s markings are apparent on the metalwork. The sconce is currently illuminated.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The metal exhibits a consistent finish, and the fabric shades appear clean and intact. The sconce is currently illuminated, suggesting functional condition; however, all electrical items are sold as decorative and should be inspected by a qualified electrician prior to use.
