Description
A traditional double-arm electric wall sconce, featuring a central ornate backplate decorated with an acanthus leaf motif. Two curved arms, crafted from polished brass or a brass-toned metal, extend horizontally, each supporting a candle-style lamp holder. Each lamp holder is fitted with a small, cream-colored fabric bell shade with a scalloped edge and gold trim. Faint, largely illegible text, possibly “14S W” or similar, is visible on one light bulb. No other manufacturer’s markings are apparent on the metalwork. The sconce is currently illuminated.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The metal exhibits a consistent finish, and the fabric shades appear clean and intact. The sconce is currently illuminated, suggesting functional condition; however, all electrical items are sold as decorative and should be inspected by a qualified electrician prior to use.
