Description
An oil on canvas portrait depicting Sir Julius Wernher, painted by Hubert von Herkomer in 1912. The artwork portrays a distinguished bearded gentleman in dark formal attire, holding spectacles, against a dark, muted background. It is housed in an ornate, gilded wooden frame. Provenance is noted as ‘The Wernher Collection’ with ‘Source: English Heritage photo library’.
