Description
A large, rectangular oil painting on canvas depicting a realistic forest landscape. The composition features numerous tall, primarily broadleaf trees with textured bark and green foliage, set against a misty or hazy background. Fallen autumn leaves are visible on the forest floor. The style is representational, characteristic of traditional landscape painting. The painting is housed within a plain, gold-colored, possibly gilded or gessoed wooden frame. A white label is affixed to the bottom left of the frame, visibly marked « P. K. Rasmussen » and « LOT 1054. »
