An oil on canvas portrait depicting a boy with curly hair looking upwards. The painting is presented in an ornate giltwood frame featuring decorative carving. A brass plaque affixed to the bottom of the frame reads: « HEAD OF A BOY / Follower of Frans Hals. » A « Pre Auction Limited » sticker bearing « LOT 91 » is visible on the lower left of the frame. The visible texture of the canvas confirms its medium.
