A collection of five vintage 12-inch vinyl LP records, primarily British pressings, reflecting mid-20th-century popular and military culture. The lot includes Clive Dunn – Grandad Sings, an album by the British actor on the Music For Pleasure (mfp) label featuring tracks such as Grandad, The Old Brigade, and Permission to Sing Sir. Also present is Pipes and Drums of the 1st Bn Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, an mfp release (1253) featuring Scotland the Brave and Entry Into Crater. The collection further contains The World of Military Bands, a compilation on the Decca label featuring Colonel Bogey and Thunderbirds, and Farewell to the Greys by The Pipes and Drums and Military Band of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards on the RCA International label. Completing the lot is Bawdy Barrack-Room Ballads by Oscar Brand, featuring tracks such as Good Ship Venus and The Ball of Kirriemuir.
