Description
A collection of vintage 12-inch vinyl LP records, predominantly featuring vocal and easy listening genres. The assortment includes two albums by Roger Whittaker, titled The Very Best of Roger Whittaker on the EMI label and Ride a Country Road. Other titles include Judy Collins Judith on the Elektra label, Pat Boone The Lord’s Prayer and Other Great Hymns, and Larry Grayson It’s a Gay Day. Several albums are from the Music for Pleasure (mfp) imprint, including The girl with the laugh in her voice sings by Alma Cogan, Patricia Varley Singing for You, and Love Story by Neil Richardson and his Orchestra. Choral works are represented by an Aled Jones recording with the BBC Welsh Chorus, conducted by John Hugh Thomas with Huw Tregelles Williams on organ. The sleeves are constructed of printed card, with some examples housed in protective plastic sleeves.
