Description
A vintage Meopta A8G 8mm movie camera, made in Czechoslovakia, likely from the mid-20th century. The camera features a two-tone silver and grey-green rectangular metal body with a white plastic pistol grip and an attached braided wrist strap. The lens is marked « Meopta Mirarar 2.8/12.5 ». It includes a numerical film speed selector with « DIN » and « ASA » scales ranging from 12-200 ASA, and a small « 16:9 » mark. The camera is accompanied by its original black faux leather carrying case, which has a metal clasp closure and a brown leather shoulder strap.
