Description
A French Louis XV Style Walnut Marble Top Nightstand, 19th Century. The piece features a shaped, polished mottled reddish-brown marble top. The body is constructed from warm-toned walnut with a visible grain, comprising two drawers with serpentine fronts, each fitted with a single wooden pull knob. The lower drawer front is adorned with a decorative inlaid or marquetry panel featuring a geometric starburst design. The nightstand stands on four slender, carved cabriole legs. No visible manufacturer’s markings are present.
