A framed 18th-century engraved map depicting the «BIRMAN EMPIRE» and surrounding areas including the «BAY OF BENGAL,» «MOUTHS OF THE GANGES,» and «GULF OF MARTABAN.» Executed in a monochromatic style with a sepia tone, the map details topography, place names, and latitude/longitude coordinates. It is presented under glass, within a wide off-white mat, and enclosed by a decorative gilded wooden frame. The visible text is predominantly in English, with «BIRMAN EMPIRE» being a prominent title, historically referring to Burma or Myanmar.
